Elephant calf hit and killed by vehicle on the Mombasa-Nairobi road,

On the 28th of August 2016, at around 4:00 a.m. that Sunday morning, Eric Sagwe, the head ranger at Wildlife Works in the Kasigau Corridor received a phonecall from a community member. A baby elephant had been hit by an oncoming large vehicle in Maungu.
